SPRING SHAMROCK WEEK 2017

HAPPY SHAMROCK WEEK!!

We had an amazing Spring Shamrock this year and raised so much money for Prevent Child Abuse America and the Children’s Trust of South Carolina. These organizations are incredible and are truly making a difference. We are truly blessed to be able to help!

We had a great time on Monday morning at our confidence coalition! We passed out balloons to students, visitors, staff, and even a member of the men’s basketball team (SWEET 16!!). Each balloon had a different saying on it to help spread confidence around our campus! Balloons such as “You are loved”, “You rock”, and even “Smile, We Beat Duke!” were seen all around campus! It was so much fun to see how a simple action like that could brighten someone’s morning!

Tuesday was our Shamrock N’ Bowl Event!! We had an amazing turnout and had SO much fun!!

Our percent night at Tin Lizzy’s was the perfect Wednesday night dinner! 20% of every receipt went to our philanthropy, which was so amazing!

Last, but certainly not least, was our SHAMROCK CONCERT ft. Seventy Six and Sunny!! This event was on campus, catered by Pawley’s Front Porch, and  included a raffle for a Yeti Tundra! This was one of our most exciting events, and couldn’t have gone better!!

Special shout out to our amazing Vice President of Community Service, Caroline, for organizing such an amazing week. We raised so much money for Prevent Child Abuse America and the Children’s Trust of South Carolina, and were able to spread the word about preventing child abuse.  We are already looking forward to Fall Shamrock!
